Isabelle Cerullo's work focuses on movement and the exploration of inner and outer states.

My works move between microcosm and macrocosm. They form a visual network in which shapes, structures and fragments complement one another and let new meanings emerge. The gaze wanders, makes connections, releases them again and discovers new relations.

Using different media and materials, I examine how thoughts, memories and emotions can be translated into visual form. At the centre of my practice stand perception, transformation and the layered nature of our inner and outer reality.
